A trigger is defined to activate when a statement inserts, updates, or deletes rows in the associated table. For example, rows can be inserted by statements, and an insert trigger activates for each inserted row.A trigger can be set to activate either before or after the trigger event. It’s not necessary to define a DELETE trigger since a post is marked as deleted by setting it’s deleted field to true. The first My SQL command we’ll issue is a little unusual: Our trigger body requires a number of SQL commands separated by a semi-colon (;).A trigger is a named database object that is associated with a table, and that activates when a particular event occurs for the table. Some uses for triggers are to perform checks of values to be inserted into a table or to perform calculations on values involved in an update.DELIMITER $$ DROP TRIGGER IF EXISTS `set Edit Status`$$ CREATE TRIGGER `set Edit Status` AFTER INSERT on ACCOUNTS FOR EACH ROW BEGIN update ACCOUNTS set status='E' where = NEW.edit_on ; END$$ DELIMITER ; Please suggest a workaround PS: I have already gone through Updating table in trigger after update on the same table, Insert into same table trigger mysql, Update with after insert trigger on same table and mysql trigger with insert and update after insert on table but they dont seem to answer my question.

I have 2 websites, 2 databases (same name) on 2 different web servers, S1 & S2. I want both the user data on both the websites to be the same.So if one user registers on S1, then that user registration information should be passed to S2.If a user registration information is updated on S1, the same information should be updated on S2. How can I create a trigger so that every time there is an insert / update / delete in database on S1, then the user table on S2 also gets automatically updated. storage engine on both servers, in conjunction with triggers, to allow each server to update the other server's database. For example, you can have a trigger activate before each row that is inserted into a table or after each row that is updated. My SQL triggers activate only for changes made to tables by SQL statements.
